$1 Drink Fridays: “Battle of the Decades” DJ Party (North Beach)

Fridays are now a little bit more awesome. Did someone say $1 drinks?

Monroe in North Beach hosts “Battle of the Decades” DJ party and happy hour every Friday with a DJ spinning progressive tunes. Every hour is a different decade – with drink prices to match – $1 drinks during ’60s hour, $2 drinks during ’70s hour, and so on.

What’s more American than drinking? Celebrate the country’s 239th birthday by turning back drink prices (at least for a few hours) with $1 drinks from 6pm to 7pm before you head off to watch the fireworks.

Or stay for the rest of the night and hear the Battle of the Decades DJs spin music from the past four decades and miss the fireworks altogether.
