101 Vagina Photo Exhibit & Book Launch | SF

The art show that will be on everybody’s lips, 101 Vagina, a powerful photo exhibition celebrating women and breaking down taboos about body image, is coming to SF’s Goforaloop this month with a public opening evening on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Australian-German photographer Philip Werner brings his North American tour to San Francisco. This book contains 101 beautiful black and white photos of vaginas, along with a message, story or poem written by each woman to accompany their photo. The messages are candid and span the spectrum of emotions. They are raw and honest and form a small compendium of women’s experiences with their bodies and womanhood in general, with a focus on the vagina.

101 Vagina is light and profound, cheeky and deep.

The exhibition will run to Sunday, April 27 with public gallery hours noon to 8 pm.
