Los Gatos celebrates the 4th of July with events throughout the day including the Hometown Picnic & Games, the San Jose Wind Symphony concert, an afternoon of marches and twilight Yankee Doodle Dancing and community sing-a-long.

11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Civic Center
The day will begin with some good ol’ family fun! Entertainers include Zenith Ark Project and the Sizzling Seniors. Games and activities will be provided by LGS Recreation and A Place For Teens.Strike up the Band
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Los Gatos High School Front Lawn
The traditional San Jose Wind Symphony concert will begin with a Flag Raising Ceremony and Mayor’s Welcome, followed by an afternoon of marches, popular tunes and patriotic songs.Yankee Doodle Dancing
3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Civic Center
Get ready for an evening of singing and dancing. The Peninsula Banjo Band will start us off with an old fashioned sing-a-long, then it’s time to boogie the night away and transcend musical boundaries with a selection of contemporary hits performed by The Hitmen.
