The 15th Annual Great Vallejo Ducky Derby is a rubber duck race on the 4th of July at Vallejo’s Waterfront.
Approximately, 10,000 rubber ducks will be released in the Mare Island Strait near the Vallejo Ferry Terminal Building in a frantic race to the finish line.
It’s free to watch or $5 to “adopt” a duck for a chance to win a prize like free car washes for a year, $1,500 cash, a trip to New York to see a Yankees game, or a new car.
