Come and enjoy a panel of experts on traveling locally or abroad on Wednesday May 16th at 7:00 pm at San Ramon Library. The panel includes: Lonely Planet author John Vlahides, a French-trained chef, former luxury-hotel concierge and member of Les Clefs d’Or, the Paris-based union of the world’s elite concierges. John writes extensively about the West, particularly Northern California. On television he co-produces a month travel segment on KRON 4 and he has appeared as a travel expert in the national media; Lonely Planet author Emily Wolman, a commissioning editor at Lonely Planet who has traveled solo throughout Australia and Southeast Asia and has written guidebooks on South America; and local award winning Bay Area author Carole Terwilliger Meyers, of Weekend Adventures in San Francisco and Northern California (pictured).

The authors will answer questions and discuss their travel experiences, helping you plan your summer get-a-ways.
