Santarchy 2007: Scores of drunk santas rampage the streets of SF & Oakland

Every December, dozens of Santas take over the streets in an anarchy holiday march. SF Santas meet at the Carousel at Pier 39 no later than 10am, East Bay Santas meet at Heinhold’s First and Last Chance in Jack London Square at 11am. Then you’re off to deflower virgin territory as a giant mob. It’s fun to watch, and it’s even more fun to participate. $12 pays for transportation to all the different locales.

Normally the Santas do all their work on foot but this year there will be wheels, so if you want to join bring $12 for transportation. (In small bills, preferably.) That’s right. Santa’s a bitch and he’s too fucking drunk and fat to walk around. This year, he spreads cheer on his ass with a beer.
As this is a 21+ event, please remember to bring your ID and have it easily accessible to show bar staff.

The end time listed above is wrong. It’s not a 2-hour event. For some, it goes on forever…

jake is right about the end time.. it does seem to go on indefinitely. but the website requires me to put on an end date so i figured 2 hours is about the time when drunk santas start falling behind.
