The Onion’s Second Annual Celebration Of Broken Resolutions (Potrero Hill)

Saturday, January 12
9:30 pmto11:30 pm

Finding those resolutions difficult to keep? Instead of beating yourself up, why not celebrate at The Onion’s second annual Celebration Of Broken Resolutions? We’ve got the best brass in town with Brass Mafia, featuring members of San Francisco’s Jazz Mafia collective offering a slew of horns, heavy beats, and creative improvisation. One-man band Kid Beyond conjures his lush songs in real time using just his voice and a loop pedal, and headlining the night is Oakland’s genre-defying Why? Playing in advance of March’s Alopecia, Anticon artist Yoni Wolf and his bandmates bring their fully realized vision of a folk-pop, indie-hop sound. Bay Area whiz DJ Doc Fu will fill the gaps in the main room while Change The Beat DJs Centipede and Citizen Ten will keep the side room grooving all night.

Cost: $10
