Surreal fairy-tale art opening: “Bittersweet” @ Gallery 1998 (Polk Gulch)

This strange and wonderful art opening is for Kathie Olivias’ Bittersweet, [preview her artwork] with new paintings, sculptures and custom vinyl figures. Her work builds upon a series of characters whom she calls “misery children.” It’s fariy-tale surrealism with just a touch of manga gone array.
