Drummm Circle & Live Brazilian music by SambaDá @ de Young (Golden Gate Park)

Friday Nights at the de Young offers a variety of interdisciplinary arts programs for free and open to the public (the galleries still require an admission charge, but all events listed below are free). From 5:30–6:30 p.m, come join DRUMMM in a hands-on community drumming experience. Lively and highly interactive, DRUMMM will keep folks on their toes and get them playing together in rhythm in no time. No experience necessary. Drums provided or bring your own. From 6:30–8:30 p.m.Brazilian natives Papiba Godinho and Dandha da Hora bring their profound knowledge and respect for the roots of Afro-Brazilian song and dance to SambaDá, a band performing samba-reggae-funk with a universal appeal.
