Join us for a celebration of the music, food, and arts of Ghana! Listen to the amazing music of Pope Flyne, a master drummer from Ghana, and taste delicious Ghanaian dishes. Enjoy hands-on arts activities for all ages. Experience the culture of Ghana —the first democratic sub-Saharan country in Africa to gain its independence. “Celebrate Ghana!” is part of Second Saturdays @ Peralta Hacienda, a monthly public art event series in the heart of Oakland’s Fruitvale.
