Comedy: three one-person plays @ Central Library (Berkeley)
| Sunday, May 25 | ||
| 2:00 pm | to | 4:00 pm |
Three experienced solo show performers will be performing parts of their very funny one-person shows. Allison Landa has been in New York’s Frigid Festival, Ira Brightman is a professional comedian, and LynnRuth Miller has performed her shows all over the world including to great acclaim at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Audience discussion follows. Allison will be doing “Princess Press-On,” about a cross-cultural experience with Nigerian royalty that went terribly wrong. Ira Brightman will present, “The Hitler Dinner,” featuring Mussolini, a kamikaze pilot, and other WWII participants, including of course Adolph himself. LynnRuth will perform “Farewell To The Tooth Fairy”: A solo performance about finding the magic in our lives, filled with laughter and tears, seasoned with an unvarnished dose of reality.
3rd floor meeting room, Berkeley Central Library, 2090 Kittredge at Shattuck, Two blocks south of the Berkeley Bart.
