2008 San Ramon Art & Wind Festival: kite-flying demos, hot air balloon candy drop & kung fu (San Ramon)

The San Ramon Art & Wind Festival includes over 200 arts & crafts booths, entertainment on three stages (live bands, kung fu demos, cultural dances), kite flying demos by professionals from all over North America, free kite making workshops, kids’ activities,and more. The festival will feature a Hot Air Balloon Launch on Monday, May 26 (only) at dawn (approximately 6am), hang gliding demonstrations, jaws of life demo, helicoptor landings, and our favorite, a candy drop from a hot air balloon for the kids to scramble about for.

Best parking for the balloon launch is at the Iron Horse Middle School, 12601 Alcosta Blvd, San Ramon.

Jaws of Life Demo
Sunday & Monday @ 2:30pm in the Back Parking Lot by the San Ramon Fire Dept.

Helicopter Landings
Sun & Mon 12 - 3pm
Soccer Field Next to Tennis Court

Candy Drop
Lucky A’s Field
Daily at approx. *1pm & 4:45pm
by the Northern California Kite Flyers

*Candy Drop time is dependant on the wind
