Viva Las Americas 2008 Festival: Hispanic arts, live music & games (Pier 39)

Hosted by Pier 39 and the San Francisco Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Viva Las Americas will showcase the music, dance, and artistry of Mexican, Central American, and South American cultures. The event will feature live entertainment (including strolling Mariachis and a dance performance by Ballet Forklorico Mexicano) and fun activities for children, such as arts & crafts, games and face-painting. In addition, Lonely Planet experts will be there to answer questions will raffle off Mexican and Latin American travel guides to hundreds of lucky winners throughout the day.
