2008 Berkeley International Folk Festival at Freight & Salvage (West Berkeley)

A daylong celebration of the vibrant cultures packed storefront-to-storefront in West Berkeley Coinciding with the Berkeley International Food Festival, the Freight and Salvage presents a free concert on Sunday afternoon (noon to 5pm) showcasing musical genres from Cajun to funk to Hawaiian as well as some of the area’s very finest singer-songwriters. Performers include Eric & Suzy Thompson, Austin Willacy, Fugitive Folk Jamboree featuring Bob Frank, Jonah Watchman & Lynne “Clide” Holcombe, Royal Hawaiian Ukulele Band, the Rocking Chairs.
