2008 How Berkeley Can You Be: Wacky parade & street festival (Berkeley)

Billed as the world’s zaniest parade followed by an all-day festival in the park, Downtown Berkeley. Parade 11am to 1pm, Festival Noon to 5pm. The Parade features strange, colorful and irreverent floats/cars/art pieces including this giant banana bicycle. The festival at Martin Luther Park (the terminus of the parade) has an outdoor stage with wonderful live music and dance, food and drink booths, crafts, non-profits, and children’s activities.
