44th Annual Petaluma Bell Ringing Ceremony @ Historical Library & Museum

On the steps of the museum, a tradition started in 1964 in response to JFKs interest in starting a tradition of simultaneous bell ringing for fourth of July in communities all across the country at 1pm eastern time. This takes place at 11am (the ceremony begins at 10am) with an historical presentation followed by the bell ringing. Everyone is welcome to get in line and ring the bell. Cookies and Lemonade to follow.
