4th of July Fireworks are back in Oakland for 2008! After taking a year off in 2007, the fireworks show and 4th of July festival is back on Friday, July 4th 2008 from 4pm - 9:30pm: five hours of live music and entertainment for the family including patriotic music by The Ben Oni Orchestra Big Band. For the kids there’s free carnival games and jump houses and magicians. Free bike valet. A 20 minute fireworks show caps the night starting at approximately 9:15pm
