Small Town 4th of July Festival: Live Music, Potato Toss Contest & Fireworks (Sonoma)

July (Fourth of July) 2008 Independence Day and General Mariano G. Vallejo’s Birthday Sonoma Community Celebration. This is an all-day hometown fourth of july celebration beginning with plaza booths opening at 9:30am and a parade at 10am. The hometown band concert begins at 11:30am followed by a patriotic ceremony at 11:15pm. Live music throughout the day and there will be fun and games like potato toss throughout the afternoon. Fireworks at dusk at General Vallejo Field (West Spain Street btwn 1st and 2nd)
