Enjoy the all-volunteer 10th Annual Fourth of July Concert and Celebration at Lions WaysidePark (4401 First Street) in Pleasanton from noon until 2pm on July 4th 2008. “Celebrating Freedom and its Evolution since the Revolution” is the theme of this unabashedly patriotic event which features the Pleasanton Community Concert Band and
presentation of the 2008 Ed Kinney Community Patriot Awards. “A Dog & a Drink for a Dollar,” by the Lions Club and free hand-held American flags to the first 500 to arrive. Audience members are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, and to wear red, white and blue, if possible.
