Pre-Bastille Day French cooking demonstration w/ free champagne @ Macy’s (Union Square)

Wednesday, July 9
6:00 pm

Powder your wig, rouge your cheeks and join Chef Mauro Pando from the Grand Cafe - Brasserie & Bar in creating delicious fare in honor of France’s FĂȘte Nationale, Bastille Day. The storming of the Bastille in 1789 was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation. Celebrating such an event calls for great cuisine. Chef Pando will prepare an Heirloom Tomato and House-Made Mozzarella Salad with Sweet Onions and a Burgundy Glaze. Bask in the celebration with a complimentary splash of champagne during the demonstration.

Cost: FREE* (There is no cost listed for this event so as far as we can tell it is free)
