Gumball 3000: super luxury custon car road rally starting line & ceremony (Nob Hill)

The Gumball 3000 is an annual 3000 mile international rally which in 2008 begins in Nob Hill in San Francisco on August 9th, takes place on public roads, and travels onto LA, Vegas, hop a plane to North Korea and ending in Beijing during the Olympics. The day starts at 10am and there will be 120 super luxury custom and concept cars (the entry fee is reported to be $60k, so you can get an idea of how decked out these cars will be) on display along with celebrities including David Hasslehoff and KITT of Knight Rider and a giant LCD screen to watch the action. The start flag will drop at 1pm and all the Gumballers will make their way through the 50 foot starting towers and begin their tour across the globe.
