La Playa Block Party: Live music festival & Ocean Beach cleanup party (Outer Sunset)

Pirate Cat Radio hosts the La Playa Block Party with a beach cleanup party beginning sponsored by the SF Public Works Department (beach cleanup is from 9:30a-11a), followed by an all day street festival with live music from The Meshugga Beach Party, The Tomorrow Men, The Dead Beats, Pollo del Mar and The Graves Brother’s Deluxe. There also will be a bouncy house for kids, plus stuff for arts and crafts for sale; and ood at drink down at Java Beach CafĂ© (they have chocolate cake and beer.) Event takes place at the end of the N-Judah line at La Play and Judah, look for the Doggie Diner Heads.

The beach cleanup event is hosted by the Office of Supervisor Carmen Chu, Surfrider Foundation, Department of Public Works and Java Beach Cafe. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (415) 554-7460 or e-mail at chustaff@sfgov.org.
