San Francisco artist Ani Thompkins examines intimacy and relationships using large, silhouette-sized canvases and abstract, disembodied figures to represent sexuality, need or aversion. Rebecca Meredith visually narrates her examinations of human social roles in a fascinating and erotic analysis of everyday scenes. Marie Ramey presents her “Wingwalker” series, an inspirational response to the magical landscapes she inhabits, enhanced with sweeping, creative shapes and surreal color.
