2012 Autumn Moon Festival | Chinatown
Celebrated in Asia for more than 1,000 years, the Annual Autumn Moon Festival will be held in Chinatown on September 22-23, 2012 beginning with an opening ceremony and parade at 11am.
For two days, Grant Avenue will be filled with arts and crafts booths, cultural exhibits, children’s activities, food, corporate sponsors and non-stop entertainment along historic Grant Avenue between California Street and Columbus Avenue.
The Moon Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebration marks a time to reflect upon the bounty of the summer harvest, the fullness of the moon and the myth of the moon Goddess.

FREEThe Autumn Moon Festival is located along historic Grant Ave. between California and Broadway Streets. Pacific Street between Stockton and Kearny will also be pedestrian-only.
