The San Francisco Public Library hosts $1 book sales at the Treat Avenue Donation Center every second Saturday of the month. All books are just $1 or less each and all proceeds benefit the San Francisco Public Library.
A native of Huntington Beach, John Ledbetter’s affinity for great cuisine and cooking, along with the personal satisfaction he gets from working hard, made a career in the culinary arts a natural and organic progression.
He is currently the executive chef at Bocanova in Oakland.
Guests of all ages can kick off the winter holiday season at the Cartoon Art Museum Bookstore and receive a free festive holiday sketch from a local cartoonist or comic artist when they visit on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm.
