Welcome to the 17th Annual Flyway Festival, February 8-10, 2013 with Family Wildlife and Birding Expo and a full weekend of guided hikes and outings, tours and workshops on Mare Island.
With over 60 events on the schedule, you’ll have to watch closely to make sure you don’t miss your favorite. You will find that one of the most unique aspects of our birding festival is the chance to soak up history on Mare Island and view an amazing array of birdlife all at the same time. - Guided regional outings scheduled from Antioch Dunes NWR to San Pablo Bay NWR to Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area to the Petaluma River as well as self-guided hiking sites
- Mare Island field guide led birdwatching outings and self-guided trail walks
