Tour the secret, and not so secret, gardens of SF in the Portola Garden Tour featuring 25 private and public gardens. Even if your only experience with plants is that Obama Chia Pet your uncle got you for Christmas, you’re sure to enjoy all the beautiful flowers and plants and greenery skilled gardeners are cultivating right in the middle of the city.

This tour is a fund raising event for the Portola Garden District Scholarship at City College of San Francisco for students in the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry department, but you should still be on the look out for garden gnomes, you won’t be able to hear them… those g’s are silent
