2017 Orinda Czech Festival

The rumors you’ve heard are true. Orinda’s Czech festival is back and is scheduled to take place on 9/29-10/1. So dust off your kroje, make room in your bellies for knedliky and beer, practice your favorite Czech taborak songs in the shower and join them the last weekend in September in Orinda – the Czech heart of Northern California.

  • September 29, 2017 – Opening Ceremony 3 pm to 5 pm
  •  September 30, 2017 – Day at the Park & Movie in the Evening 9 am to 10 pm
  • October 1, 2017 – Closing Concert 2:30 pm to 5 pm

2017 Orinda Czech Festival

Help them kick-off the 2017 Orinda Czech Festival at Orinda Community Park.  A limited number of vendors will be present as we host a Rededication Ceremony of the beautiful Linden Tree (the national tree of the Czech Republic).

Next, join them for a formal dinner (tickets are required) featuring remarks by special guests H.E. Ambassador Marie Chatardova, Czech Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and elected President of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and

A presentation by William Lobkowicz, American-born Prince of Lobkowicz, current heir to most of the Lobkowicz lands and preservationist of art and book collections, and four castles in the Czech Republic, including Lobkowicz Palace at the Prague Castle.
