If you’ve always wanted to share the joys of the jungle with children, work with live animals or join other gardeners to beautify the city, Golden Gate Park needs you.
Come to the first ever Golden Gate Park Volunteer Fair on Februrary 10, 2010 to learn about all of the exciting opportunities to lead tours, participate in garden work parties and contribute to the life of the city’s most cherished open space.
Representatives from leading Park organizations including the California Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco Botanical Garden, San Francisco Recreation & Parks, SF Parks Trust and scores of affiliated community groups will be on hand at the Conservatory of Flowers to provide information, answer questions, present interactive displays and network.
