41st Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition | Berkeley

SUPERB Productions is hosting the 41st Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition at UC Berkeley on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Doors open at 7:15 pm and the show is at 8 pm.

Tickets are $5 General Admission; $3 for UC Berkeley students with ID.

Every year, hundreds of comedians from around the world enter to compete in one of the most prestigious comedy contests in North America. Come watch the remaining five compete for the grand prize in this round of the SFCC Finals.

This is not your average comedy show – alongside a panel of three local judges, you will help determine which comic makes it to the next round. Think you know funny when you see it? Enjoy a hilarious show and decide who you think is the funniest.

In the past, SFCC has launched several A-list comedians, including Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, Dane Cook, Louis CK, Patton Oswalt, Marc Maron, and Ellen Degeneres. Come out and be a part of comedic history – discover the world’s next best comedian.

Will there be tickets available for purchase at the door?
Tickets purchased online will be given priority entrance. There will be a first come, first served wait line for leftover tickets in case online ticket purchasers do not show up. However, it’s recommended that you purchase your tickets online, so you can secure a spot, and arrive early to obtain your ideal seat. This event will have festival seating.
