4/20 Laughs & Munchies: Free Comedy Show & Snacks | SF

What’s better than laughs and munchies on 4/20? Not much, we say!  Come out to the Brainwash Cafe for homemade munchies and a stellar comedy lineup to celebrate everyone’s favorite holiday.

Comedians include:

• Butch Escobar (“Best Comic in the Bay”–Metro Magazine, Cobbs Comedy club, SF Punchline). Butch is headlining this show for the same reason he has repeatedly opened for Joey Diaz multiple times: he’s hilarious and embodies everything that is great about 420. He has unparalleled stage presence and great ability to turn his perspective on life into thought provoking, gut-busting material
• Joe Gorman (SF punchline, Sac Punchline, Cobbs, Rooster T’s). The J-Wolf has played all the comedy clubs in the Bay, but still brings all the energy of a major club to any. He’ll be indulging in celebration up to moment he hits the stage and will resume the minute he drops the mic. In between will be a hurricane of laughter
• Luke Lockfield (Sylvan productions, Cobbs Comedy club) Luke’s youthful energy combines with great comedic rhythm and excellent joke writing make him one of the most in demand comics in the Bay
• There will be a feature set by up and comer Kekoa O’Brien (Longboard Margarita Bar, Great Star Theatre)
• The host will be the Godfather of Bay Comedy, Tony Sparks.

Free munchies include:

• Homemade spinach dip (in a Breadbowl)
• An assortment of oven baked cookies
• A variety of gourmet candy

For cotton mouth there are cheap beers before 7 pm ($1 PBR’s, $3 Stella’s and IPA’s)

Open mic follows from 8-9:45 pm.
