This is a totally unofficial, probably not permitted but fun-as-hell sounding event for the 4th of July where the “Squirt Gun Mafia” encourage you to take inspiration of the nightly psychedelic light show at the Conservatory of Flowers and create your own lighted parade & dance party – bring your own LED “blinky.”

You always knew that deep down *you* were a parade waiting to happen. This 4th of July break out your best LED ensemble for a light up parade in front of the Conservatory of Flowers’s Summer of Love psychedelic projection art extravaganza!

We will gather sometime between 8pm and 10pm (you can arrive earlier and stay longer as you see fit) and parade! Gloriously! Electrically!

Activities may include: break dancing, beat boxing, break boxing, beat dancing, doing “the wave” or at least “a” wave, saying “hi” to that person with the super impressive EL wire wings, wondering what Burning Man “camp” those 9 year olds are from because DANG do they have some impressive arduino skills, revealing (at last) the Singularity, whatever else you want this thing to be (performance artists welcomed with open, wavering arms).

Brought to you by the ever notorious Squirt Gun Mafia – the folks who brought you the IKEA slumber party, the burying of businessmen alive somewhere near the Embarcadero, and other assorted nonsense.
