Event Details

$5 Classic Movie Night | Paramount Theatre

Experience the great films of Hollywood’s Golden Era in one of America’s finest Art Deco movie palaces.

With over 3,000 seats and a meticulously-restored interior, the Paramount offers a true “Movie Palace” experience straight out of the 1930s – with period newsreels, cartoons, previews, live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ and the audience participation spinning wheel game of “Dec-O-Win.”

Rebecca (1940)

“Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again…”

And with that opening line from the greatest of Alfred Hitchcock’s early movies, we are sucked into one of the finest adaptations of a gothic novel ever filmed.

A self-conscious bride is tormented by the memory of her husband’s dead first wife.

Adapted from the novel by Daphne Du Maurier, Rebecca was the first Hollywood movie Alfred Hitchcock directed and garnered six Oscars: Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Director.
