Enjoy $5 admission to the Chabot Space & Science Center in the Oakland Hills every First Friday of the month from 6-10 pm.

$5 admission includes unlimited access to everything from laser and planetarium shows to Night Hikes and Star Stories. Regularly admission is $18 for adults, so this is a super deal.

Each First Friday will include a variety of fun evening activities for the whole family. Enjoy music, a bar, science demos, talks, telescopes, space missions and more.

Some activities have limited capacity and are first come, first served, so get here to sign up early. There is no pre-registration for First Fridays, just show up and join in on the fun.

Get into the holiday season as The Oakland Youth Chorus performs their winter concert in the Planetarium. Chabot will also be celebrating the launch of their new hands-on activity space, Project Create dives deep into the toys we know and love to see what makes them tick.

Using a variety of materials, create a new toy to display in their gallery with their toy creation activity. They will keep you in the spirit of the season with a giant gingerbread house community build. You may even see some roaming carolers in the Center.
