Event Details

Peter Gajdics is the author of The Inheritance of Shame, just published by Brown Paper Press, which tells the harrowingly true story of his six years in Gay conversion therapy. Garrard Conley, author of Boy Erased, says the Gajdics memoir is “a necessary, incredibly nuanced portrait of a survivor. The Inheritance of Shame will change lives.”

Raeff will interview Gajdics, and Anne Raeff who will read from their work. Raeff’s short-story collection The Jungle Around Us is a finalist for the California Book Award and won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction.
