Smithsonian Magazine’s 7th annual Museum Day takes place Saturday, September 24, 2011 as participating museums and cultural institutions nationwide will open their doors free of charge to all visitors who download the Museum Day Ticket.

Please note there is no free admission to the California Academy of Sciences, the Contemporary Jewish Museum or to the Walt Disney Family Museum this year. These museums had bee previously incorrectly listed on Funcheap as participating for 2011.
The Museum Day Ticket provides free admission to one person, plus a guest.
