Event Details

The 6th Annual Alameda Harvey Milk Day Celebration will take place at Alameda High School from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015.

Former AUSD teacher Victoria Forrester will be the keynote speaker as we celebrate the strides Alameda has taken in affirming LGBTQ rights and hear from students about their perspectives on the future. Highlights will include student speakers from the Gay Straight Student Alliance, music from the Oakland East Bay Men’s Chorus, presentations by winners of the Poetry and Poster contest and dance performances by students from Alameda and Encinal High Schools.
