Cancelled: Alisha’s Free Home Cookin’ Fridays | The Riptide

Please note, unfortunately, The Riptide is closed due to a fire.

Follow the L until it ends, on Fridays after work and get rewarded with grubbing on free home cookin’ from Alisha.

Each week, she whips up home-style food that ranges from blushin bunnies, chili con carne, chicken pot pie, and, if you’re lucky, even tater tot casserole.  It’s free during Friday happy hour starting at 4 pm until it’s all gone..

About The Riptide
The Riptide is the Bay Area’s best little honky-tonk by the beach. Located in the Sunset District, it was built in 1941 and has the look and feel of a small town lodge. In addition to rustic brick flooring and high ceilings, it has original knotty pine walls and a raging fireplace. Plus, there’s an outdoor smoking lounge with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

The Riptide opens daily at 4 pm. If you’re looking for a casual atmosphere and a conversation or two with the local neighbors, stop by for Happy Hour from 4-7 pm featuring honest drink specials.
