AlphaBar Karaoke League Playoffs | SF

Come watch the AlphaBar Karaoke League perform the last night of the season and at all comes down to this – playoffs. Teams have been battling all season to determine their seedings and will now compete in a single elimination tournament.

Teams are judged on how well they sing it and how well they bring it. Karaoke league is a spectator sport.

Schedule

• First Round 6-7:20 pm
• Semi-finals 7:20-8:30 pm (Wheel of Death is spun by finalist teams at 8:30 pm)
• Exhibition Round 8:30-9:15 pm
• Finals 9:15-10 pm

How does it work? Each week of regular season you face off against one other team in the league. Teams consist of at least 3 girls and 3 guys. Each team gets a female solo, male solo, and group song. A panel of judges rate you on two 10 point scales for singing it and bringing it. Whichever opponent has more points at the end of the match gets the victory.They have a live scoreboard that tallies your results against the competition.

Every week is a new theme: ‘80s, ’90s, Disney, Showtunes, Movie Soundtracks, Oldies… They have a professional grade wireless headset mic so your hands are free to do whatever you want. At the end of the season you are seeded into a single elimination tourney by number of wins and points.
