America’s Cup Exhibit: Rare Boat Models & Photography | Maritime Museum

Celebrate San Francisco sailing and America’s Cup with a free exhibit at the SF Maritime Museum with an exhibit featuring artifacts, photos, video, and the museum’s sweeping bay views during “America’s Cup and Historic Racing on San Francisco Bay – 1880’s to 2013” on view from 10 am to 4 pm daily July-November 2013.

See a rare model of the America (winner of the 1851 Cup), an exhibition featuring real boats from the early days – the 1938 sloop Mab, and an EI Toro class boat, in addition to models, trophies, and burgees from local Bay clubs.

Displays will include large photographs by Gilles Martin-Raget, Principal Photographer for the 34th America’s Cup, and historic Bay racing photos from the park’s collection.
