Beak>: Portishead Side Project | Amoeba Music: Free In-Store Mini Concerts

Beak> is a project spearheaded by Geoff Barrow (Portishead), Billy Fuller, and Matt Williams.  All albums come from live improv sessions with all musicians playing together in one room. There are no preconceived written ideas and, once recorded, no overdubs or fixing. What you hear is what happened.

This past July, Beak> released their sophomore LP titled >>, which Spin Magazine, Pitchfork, and Consequence of Sound selected for their Top Albums of 2012.
