Earth Day 2013: Wildcat Creek Cleanup Challenge | RichmondThe Watershed Project invites you to celebrate Earth Day 2013 in Richmond’s Wildcat Creek on April 20, 2013 by picking up litter and taking an inventory of the types of trash that is contributing to the pollution of the creek.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The information that will be collected during this event will be used to inform policy makers and city officials about the types of pollutants most commonly found in the creek. Wear sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen, and bring your own water bottle and gloves, if you have them. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at Verde Elementary School, 2000 Giaramita St, Richmond or at the Wildcat Creek staging area located at Richmond Parkway between Pittsburg and Gertrude Avenue. Please consider riding a bike or walking to the event.
