The Watershed Project invites you to celebrate Earth Day 2014 in Richmond’s Wildcat Creek by picking up litter and taking an inventory of the types of trash that is contributing to the pollution of the creek on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Free snacks and refreshments will be provided for nourishment as you work hard to help cleanup our environment. The information that will be collected during this event will be used to inform policy makers and city officials about the types of pollutants most commonly found in the creek.

Meet at Verde Elementary School, 2000 Giaramita St, Richmond, or at the Wildcat Creek staging area located at Richmond Parkway between Pittsburg and Gertrude Avenue. Please consider riding a bike or walking to the event.

Wear sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen, and bring your own water bottle and gloves, if you have them. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
