The Watershed Project invites you to celebrate Earth Day in Richmond’s Wildcat Creek by picking up litter and taking an inventory of the types of trash that is contributing to the pollution of the creek on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

Free, but an RSVP is required. If you have any questions or would like to RSVP your group, please email Jennies@thewatershedproject.org

Free snacks and refreshments will be provided for nourishment as you work hard to help cleanup our environment. Please remember to bring a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. They will provide tools and gloves. If you have your own pair of gloves and a bucket, please bring them so everyone gets a chance to pitch in and our event can be as waste-free as possible.

The information that will be collected during this event will be used to inform policy makers and city officials about the types of pollutants most commonly found in the creek.

Meet at: The North Richmond Ballpark
