Come to Oakland’s colorful Fruitvale neighborhood for the 18th annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival at the Fruitvale Transit Village from 10 am to 5 pm on November 2, 2013.
This free, outdoor, family-friendly event invites Bay Area community to experience this cultural holiday with community altars made by local artists and community members, live music, Ballet folklorico, Aztec dancers and local artisian crafts on display.

Fruitvale Transit Village, E. 12th St. at 33rd Ave. Oakland
- Contribute your own small offering or drop off pictures of loved ones that are no longer with us to the community altar located on the corner of East 12th Ave and Avenida de la Fuente.
- Continuous entertainment on three stages hosted By Telemundo, La Raza, Mundo Fox/Estrella and KBLX.
- Carnival rides, pony rides and a petting zoo will be on-site at the children’s pavilion
- Flavors of Latin American cuisine and enjoy a day filled with entertainment, art and community.
