2015 Holi Celebration: Color Powder, Water Fun & Potluck | East Bay

Amrita Bala Kendra invites you to a fun filled afternoon of Holi Celebrations with games, storytime, potluck, prayers and of course, Holi colors and water fun on Sunday, April 19th, 2015.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Holi 2015 Schedule:

• 1 pm: We will meet at the meadow near the pond.
• 1:15- 2:30 pm: Games.
• 2:30-3 pm: Holika burning, story and prayers.
• 3:30-4 pm: Potluck snacks & Chai. Sign up for the potluck
• 4-4:45 pm: Playing Holi with water & colours. Please bring your water guns.
• 4:45-5 pm: Closing

Kindly plan on wearing old clothes since they will get stained and likely not be usable until next holi! Do bring a change of clothes. They will provide plenty of non-toxic colors and colored water.

Amrita Bala Kendra program tries to give children an understanding of spiritual principles and shows them how to bring these simple teachings into their daily lives through stories, bhajans, field trips, arts and crafts, celebration of festivals and service projects. The Bala Kendra program focuses on values, traditions, and spiritual practices.
