Free / Learn More

Pruning is an important part of rose culture, primarily providing the plant with better air circulation, enhancing good form and reducing non-essential growth. The demonstration will cover a variety of rose types.

Join members of the San Francisco Rose Society at the annual collaboration with the Department of Recreation and Parks in the Golden Gate Park Rose Garden on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 am.

They will give a free demo of growing starts from cuttings from the Rose Garden. The best-selling classic rose growing guide for San Francisco, “Growing Roses in the San Francisco Bay Area and other Maritime-Influenced Climates,” will be available for sale for $25.
