Join the California Revels in a day of good music, dancing, and the largest celebration ever of the Abbots Bromley antler dance, The Abbots Bromliad on Labor Day Monday, September 2, 2013.
Every September, the dancers in Abbots Bromley, England take up the traditional horns for a legendary trek of dancing through the town and countryside. The California Revels celebrate the tradition with a day of picnicking, dancing, and music which will culminate in the annual Bromliad antler dance at 1 pm. No experience is required.

There will be music and Morris dancing (teams are cordially invited) to observe, as well as led group dances to participate in. Then at 1 pm, they’ll organize all participants for the Abbots Bromley serpentine.
Bring a blanket, your own picnic, and anything you would like to add to the festivities. Costumes, antlers, hobby horses, parasols, toy archery bows, fool hats, musical instruments and silliness are all encouraged.
