The Concord Art Association is hosting its Summer Art Show and Sale on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th at the Concord Public Library at 2900 Salvio Street. Treat yourself and your home to a beautiful work of art and support your local artists!
Everyone is invited to attend this free, family-friendly community event! From 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, local artists will have their work on display and for sale, including original paintings, prints and cards, as well as handmade crafts.
Participating artists include Carol Husslein, Julie Limberg, Mary Frances Crabtree, Cathy McNutt, Sylvia Nuzzo Philis, Susan Pace-Koch, Lisa Fulmer, Carolyn Oliver, Bev Haggerty, Hanne Zavala, Sandi Sherwood and Demaris Brown.
Kids can enjoy story time and a craft activity while the grown-ups try their hand at making and swapping artist trading cards. Local acoustic duo, Delta Breeze, will perform on Saturday.
Friends of the Library will have a table of gently-used books for sale and the Concord Elks Lodge will be on-hand to share information about their community programs. Light refreshments will be served.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Concord Public Library and the Concord Art Association.
