Art Opening: Drawing, Painting, Animation & Sculpture | Mission Dist. “Between the Lines” is a multi-media installation featuring drawings, paintings, animation and sculpture by Richard Blakely.

This exhibit presents us with an open dialogue regarding Blakely’s exploration and processes of various mediums throughout his ongoing career as an experimental artist.

A graduate of SFSU, Richard Blakely entered the art world through commercial illustration, motion picture production painting, graphic design, and motorcycle/hot rod art. “Between the Lines” celebrates the best of those worlds by weaving the paths of exploration and linking the past and present. This intimate look at the process of engaging with the materials gives viewers a personal insight on process of exploration and creation by an artist. Incline Gallery is honored to have Richard Blakely use the space as an integral factor in the development and presentation of his work.
