Sub-Mission (formerly the Balazo Gallery) hosts an Art Party with a silent auction for pieces by local artists, watch live art and live sketching, view “dancers in the dark” (live performers from the Circus Center), and can you believe there will be hairdressers offering live free haircuts for those who arrive early and don’t mind being styled in front of the stage. Plus DJs spinning Soul/Funk and oldies. Free Food, Cash Bar Beer and Wine only.
Cost: Sliding scale $10 to $15, but if you RSVP through Going.com and put “FuncheapSF RSVP” in the comment area, you’ll get free admission!

I just got an e-mail from going saying that it’s 10 bucks even if you rsvp with funcheap . . . what say you funcheap . . . have i been misled?

Unfortunately i’ve found out that the event will not be honoring the “free if you rsvp via funcheap” offer that the promoters emailed me about. i’m very sorry about this last minute change.
