Ralph McQuarrie was the original artist responsible for visualizing George Lucas’s Star Wars. He also worked on Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T., Cocoon, and Star Trek IV.

On July 28th, John Scoleri, the author of six books on the art of Ralph McQuarrie, will share stories and examples of McQuarrie’s diverse body of work and the impact he had on the look of science fiction.
